The following information applies to all version of Company of Heroes, Opposing Fronts, and Tales of Valor.
The Legacy Servers for Company of Heroes were shut down on May 7th 2013.
Company of Heroes is now hosted on Steam servers. If you have previously installed Company of Heroes, or have downloaded installation files from D2D or GameFly, please delete these files and use the following guide to activate and download your title through Steam.
To install the game on your computer:
STEP 1) Install Steamworks by clicking the "Install Steam Now" link on Steam's Website http://store.steampowered.com/about/
STEP 2) Create a new Steam Account, or log in to an existing account using the installed Steam Client
STEP 3) While viewing the Steam Client, look in the lower left corner and click on "ADD A GAME"
STEP 4) Choose "Activate a Product on Steam" (Only valid for Steam activated titles)
STEP 5) Enter your Product Code from your My Game's page: http://www.direct2drive.com/#!/my-account/my-games
STEP 6) The game will be added to your Steam Library. Follow the prompts from there to download the new steam version of your game.
