This error can occur if you used the Windows default compression (unzip) or on your download files. Unfortunately, these will not download your files successfully. Please use our Download Manager or the free tools below to unzip your download files.
If the file is a .zip file, We recommend the following free zip program WinRAR (downloads available below):
Download WinRAR
Locate the file on your hard drive and double click to open the file, Extract the files from the zip to any folder. This isn't where you are going to install the game, it just makes sure that the files are removed from the zip before you install, this helps avoid complications during installation. .
If the file still reports it is corrupt, there are a few things that can cause this. Please see this list and check things off as you go:
Routers
they truncate files. Your router firewall may be set too high. If you have another computer on the network, try it to see if the issue persists.
Improper extraction
this can happen when trying to extract an executable file.
Anti-Virus software
this can scan as you download and interrupt the process. Sometimes the slightest blip can corrupt the file. One packet lost is a missing piece of the puzzle.
Software firewalls (Norton, McAfee, etc.)
these can all corrupt the file as you download by falsely seeing the game files as malicious, this is called a false positive. Downloads from D2D will not give you a virus, and all files are scanned before being put on our site.

Windows Defender
it is another firewall built into Windows. It will need to be configured or disabled.
Downloading to your desktop
this is not an appropriate place to download and open large files. Use another folder on a hard drive that has at least 2 1/2 times the space available for the size of the file. For example, if your file is 3 gigs, you need 7.5 gigs of hard drive space available for the best experience.
Other software
if you have internet optimizers, packet monitoring or even toolbars installed on your computer, they could impact the download.
Before you try your download again, please delete the files you previously downloaded. If you do not delete these files, your next download will also be corrupt.
